Daniel

A high school English teacher, David, serves as a mentor to his queer student, Daniel, and, in the process, David begins to question his own gender. He grapples with what it means to be a caring teacher in a system that’s still deeply tied to binaries, does not account for the needs of every student, and is rebelling against the threat of progress.

Six Evacuations

We are taking a historical tour through the streets of Berlin with Sarah Rosenbaum, a 29-year-old expat from California, when Sarah begins slipping through her memories. From her grandparents fleeing the Nazis in 1943, to fleeing climate disasters in 2012, to fleeing heartbreak in 2019, Sarah combs through a history of displacement to figure out why she can’t seem to sit still, and to finally find the place - or the person - she might be able to call home.
